Peace Circles are a development of Creators of Peace and are a simple tool to gather a diversity of women together to look at their role in the perpetration and resolution of conflict in the home and community.

South Africa holds Peace Circle workshop in Garankuwa

In May/June another Peace Circle workshop was held in Garankuwa, north of Pretoria.

Seeing Each Other in a Different Light

Marie Chaftari attended a Creators of Peace conference in 2001. Part of her inspiration for starting the Linaltaki movement with Lina Charafeddine came from that experience and the CoP Peace Circles currently being used in various parts of the world.

Creators of Peace Circles meet in Johannesburg, South Africa

In February/March 2007, Peace Circles involved 31 participants in Johannesburg.

A Creators of Peace project has been successfully experimented with in Bogota, Colombia.

In 2005 a catholic school invited Creators of Peace activist Helena Salazar, to introduce the Peace Circle material into a class of 35 grade 10 school boys.
